01 / Challenge

Turn smartphones into controllers for one shared game.

Visitors received mobile phones. Each participant controlled their own character while everyone saw the shared result on the stand display.

The system had to connect new players quickly, launch short rounds and operate continuously throughout the exhibition.

Each human–zombie pair played on a separate horizontal lane. Every pair contributed to the team's final result.

Smartphones acted as wireless controllers. The central computer received player input, synchronised characters, calculated results and rendered the game on the stand display.

A dedicated operator interface connected participants, launched rounds and quickly prepared the system for the next session.

Multiplayer engineered for a live exhibition.

AKTO delivered the game mechanics, smartphone clients, Wi-Fi networking, central game system and operator interface.

The visual design was supplied by the client.
